SLIDELL, LOUISIANA – AVALA Care is expanding access to primary care services in Slidell with the addition of Dr. Allan Larcena, a highly respected internal medicine physician who has served the community for more than 30 years.
Known for his compassionate approach and commitment to personalized care, Dr. Larcena has built a reputation for developing lasting relationships with patients and helping them achieve long-term health and wellness. He will begin seeing patients at AVALA Care Slidell on October 1, 2026.

Originally from the Philippines, Dr. Larcena earned his medical degree from the Cebu Institute of Medicine before completing his internship and residency training in New Jersey. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on delivering patient-centered care built on trust, communication, and a deep understanding of each individual’s healthcare needs.
