Age-Related Screenings

Age-related screenings are routine preventive tests that primary care providers use to detect health issues early—often before symptoms appear—when treatment is most effective.

These screenings are recommended at specific ages or life stages and may include checks for blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, cancer (such as breast, cervical, colorectal, or prostate), bone health, vision and hearing, and mental health. By staying up to date with age-appropriate screenings, patients can reduce their risk of serious illness and work with their provider to maintain long-term health and quality of life.
